In the construction of transmission line projects in mountainous areas, roads often traverse between mountains and river valleys, frequently requiring extensive slope excavation. This excavation destroys the original vegetation cover, resulting in large areas of secondary bare ground and severe soil erosion, thereby damaging the ecological environment. To prevent slope instability along transmission lines and avoid significant economic losses to the nation, our company has developed an online monitoring device for transmission line slopes. This equipment monitors surface displacement, slope inclination, groundwater levels, soil displacement changes at various depths, and rainfall. It effectively addresses the shortcomings of traditional manual inspection methods.

II. Working Principle

The online monitoring device for transmission line slopes primarily employs a Beidou-based automated monitoring method to conduct real-time, automated monitoring of surface displacement on the monitored structure. Specifically, Beidou monitoring points and reference point receivers continuously receive Beidou signals, transmitting data in real time via communication networks to the control center. The Beidou data processing software on the control center server performs real-time differential calculations to determine the three-dimensional coordinates of each monitoring point. Data analysis software retrieves these real-time coordinates and compares them with initial coordinates to calculate displacement at each point. Simultaneously, the analysis software triggers alerts based on predefined warning thresholds.

1. Basic configuration for slope monitoring: Master control unit, slope monitoring unit, communication unit, power supply unit, mounting brackets, and auxiliary materials;

2. Collect high-precision real-time 3D coordinates, base station observation data, monitoring point observation data, as well as ephemeris and precise ephemeris data. Transmit encrypted data via 4G/5G signals to the service platform for processing, then analyze the data using BeiDou ground-based augmentation network resources.

BeiDou Receiver Functionality: Includes all equipment encompassing data acquisition, centralized transmission, processing and calculation, display and recording, as well as safety protection facilities such as lightning protection and anti-theft measures. This enables the transmission of monitoring data to the monitoring center for display.

4. Unattended Monitoring System: Operates automatically with minimal supervision, achieving an annual operational reliability rate exceeding 99%. The system supports continuous 24/7 operation with over 100,000 hours of uninterrupted, fault-free performance.

5. Real-time display and analysis of deformation data, enabling intermittent health status assessments;

6. Central software automatic calculation: The shortest response time ranges from minutes to hours, with real-time network adjustment and automatic evaluation of monitoring results. All parameters are fully configurable by users according to specific monitoring requirements.

7. Diverse daily channel alerts: Alerts are delivered via web, app notifications, and SMS messages, ensuring you stay informed about power tower deformation status anytime, anywhere.

10. Automatically generate reports with customizable reporting cycles (e.g., weekly, daily). Users can freely add or remove essential output information. Additionally, weekly or monthly trend curves for specific data points can be automatically generated as needed.
